A piece about how it feels to be LGBTQIA+ in a country where conservatives still want to take away women's rights, spread racist ideologies, demonize my trans peers, and attack my community. The hatred they spread ultimately leads to violence, yet we're expected to "play nice" and "be civil" when interacting with conservatives politically.

It's exhausting, it's lonely, it can feel so isolating.

Stay strong.
